Of course it aint time for the sack thats ridiculous! i think we need to let one of these big consortiums buy the club that were interested (cos our current owners and sporting directors are fucking up) and just give Ramos time. Its not like we are being turned over at the moment...

From what ive read we were the better side yesterday but when things arent going your way and confidence is low this is what happens - still not happy with his selection but i think he can come right...sacking him is def. not the way to go!

Anyways yeah fucking crap times what must i say...

Pete, must be heart breaking bro...I actually really feel for spurs fans. I wish it would rather happen to liverpoodle.

Now how can you talk like that about the most successful manager in WORLD FOOTBALL, your silly comments indicate that you are very narrow minded, but dont stress, most Liverpoodle supporters are.

I on the other hand I can lambast that excuse for a manager Rafa Benitez as he has progressivly done worse year on year. FACT...and dont tell me that SAF did worse in his first 5 years, he did not have 80 million to spend but more importantly, he was progessively better year on year.

guest poster
I dont know where you say he "progressively improved" in his 1st five seasons:

11th to 2nd then back to 11th? hmmmm the 13th .... please man!!!

David Moyes did better in his 1st 4 seasons at the toffees!

If you dont think Rafa has progressively from the squad we had before he took over then i dont know.. If i'm not mistaken this is our best premier league start..

and why should I respect the most successful manager in world football when you dont respect the most successful british team.

Now you talking about a guy who is year in year out proving that he is a Master of the Game. When did Liverpool last prove that? There is no respect due to Liverpool because the Liverpool "Era" is over but the SAF "Era" is current. And just as you said in another post you cant compare Teams to individual players, same way you cant to managers. This is the work of ONE man.

Just to clear the air, We united fans dont want mediocre results and when SAF was not performing Stretford End sung the following "Three years of excuses and it's still crap. Ta ra Fergie." and SAF said "the darkest period ever suffered in the game." We want to be the best and we expect that after three years our manager should deliver. If not BYE BYE.

Rafa won the Champions League with a team he got from Houlier with the addition of Alonso and Garcia, the year after he won the FA cup then finished Third, then Forth. Yes this is you best start you have had in the EPL but you only 2 Points better than last year.

And Remember SAF didnt have millions at his disposal like Rafa (Spent 20mil less than SAF since comming)And dont say Rafa had to build a new squad because in the same time so did SAF and he has won 2 EPL's and UCL.

Blah Blah Blah...
The fact is that the most successful manager in the world first 5 years at united was dreadful.. Yes much worse than Rafa.

Napaman : "And just as you said in another post you cant compare Teams to individual players, same way you cant to managers"

To answer your above comment... My arguement was not a football comparison but about respect. If you guys want me to respect the most successful manager then please respect the most successful team.

Anyway, Looking at television replays, i'm sure he still sucks dick to get results.

Lads lads lads ive neva seen so much biasness and going in circles in my life!! let an outsider give you his view

Ok Liverpool are at the moment the most successful brittish team of all time - FACT
United are currently the best brittish team and over the past 20 years (by far) - FACT

Fergie was crap in his first 4 years lads so please save it...my dad has told me countless times how he actually felt sorry for him cos he was close to getting the sack and looked so miserable...

yes Benitez has has had more money but football and the EPL has become a lot more competitive these days so i can give him that (although i agree he could have adjusted quicker - like how Ramos is fucking up now)

I think Liverpool are finally headed in the right direction (title wise) but for me Chelsea and United are still far away...the Berbie signing finished off a great team and unless summin drastic changes i can see anyone stopping them in particular then Chelsea...unfortunatley for Liverpool it has come a bit late if you were in this positon a few years ago when united were stumbling the you would have a great chance!

Who knows though this is Football and it is unpredictable thats why we love it i will still give Liverpool a chance as they have impressed me and deserve credit they have shown all the makings (so far) of a title winning team..although i really cant see past united and chelsea..

If there is anything else you would like the outsider to settle let me know!

Hi Peteskee

you raise an interesting point and something that I would like to further explore.

You say:

"yes Benitez has has had more money but football and the EPL has become a lot more competitive these days so i can give him that"

As we already know Liverpoodle have won 18 titles and Man Utd 17, is it not safe to say that Liverpool won all there titles when the leagues were far less competitive than what it is today (I call it schoolboy football), albeit Man Utd had the same advantages and disadvantages as all the team participating. I believe that Man Utd would have more titles than Liverpoodle if it was not for the Munich disaster in 1958, we were arguably the best team in the world in 1958 under Busby.

I know Rafalution is going to say that United were formed before Liverpoodle, and I agree but the european cup was formed in 1954 which means that we have participated equally barring the 5 year ban (i think) for the hillsborough disaster. So take 10 (in our prime) from us and 5 for them, they still have the advantage.

We will equal Liverpoodles 18 titles this year and definitely overtake them in Champs league in the next few years but as for the title, the only thing Liverpoodle fans can argue about is there precious history.

Enjoy it while it lasts Liverpoodle because when that day comes...God help you.

Yeah good point Shmilingi, it is true IMO that you won your titles in more difficult times and as you say had some setbacks...

No offense to Liverpool(cos they are a great club) but it tires me when all those fans argue and bang on about things from nearly 30yrs ago, yes history is what makes your club BUT you cant talk about your club being currently a great footballing outfit on events from 30yrs ago.

Over the past 5 years or so Chelsea and United destroy everyone and before that it was only United..so yeah for me a team should be judged anywhere between 2 seasons to about 5,6,7 seasons(this is a estimate) but not more than that.

That is why Chelsea deserve respect and credit cos they were not a flash in the pan and have been consistent now for a long time(as united have) and that for me shows quality and that is why i cant see past the 2 for the title yet...that mentalitiy for winning a title does not come over night and is the hardest thing to mantain over the season!

If Liverpool continue like this till Xmas then for me they def. have what it takes and should be there till the end bar some big injuries - time will tell...

This all started about SAF and Benitez. So I would like to know how long should Liverpool fans give Benitez? I mean SAF came second 9 points behind the great liverpool team of the 80's and the fans were asking for him to be sacked.
So how long lads. I reckon if Benitez does not bring back the UCL or the EPL or both the FA cup and League cup with at least a second place in the EPL.He must go back to sunny spain OLA.

depends how close he gets with everything this season, no EPL title or CL over the next 2 seasons then surely time is up? Problem is for me he is doing a good job its just that United and Chelsea have superb outfits how do you compete? It all cant really be his fault unless Pool spend big otherwise they must accept being 3rd rate and winning the odd cup?

Peteskee : I agree with everything you say exept that you think it may have come too late. I think we were further behind united, chelsea and arsenal 5 years ago.

That wasnt my point Sergio, 5 years ago you were further behind than you are now BUT my point was if you had this team 5 yrs ago you might have won!
