Definately, massive mistake signing keane if gerrard was the preffered choice. Obviously Rafa expected more from Keane. So did i to be honest, and i do think he's a better player than hes shown us so far. The point is the money could have been spent on a right winger. I was even saying that in the summer transfer window "we need to sign a world class right winger!" Kuyt isnt a fucking winger! He frustrates me game in game out. In the beginging of the season he was coming up with these winners and that but the majority of the time he plays average. I was saying last season we aint gonna ever win the league with players like kuyt and riise. Hopefully im wrong. I dont know what Rafa sees in him, surely it cant only be down to work rate? He gets into fantastic positions but is 80% of the time wastefull. Whats the point of that? I'd rather have babel on the right, he's just as wastefull but at least he has 5 times the creativity!
Yesterday was just a reminder of how much we've missed torres. The oak is class and the understanding he has with gerrard is sick! Like you say, if they both stay fit, great chance...

Well i honestly only caught the last half an hour they werent showing it where i was so it is hard to say cos the game looked pretty sealed up by then...You guys probably deserved the game but was happy for a couple of reasons Dos Santos made a return :) and ye we put on a solid performance it seems in difficult times...wasnt expecting anything but congrats to you hope you win that and so we can take the CC...

Benitez has the nerv to come out and critise Moyes' tactics of playing for a draw. I didnt watch the game but in a Cup-Tie in the FA cup i think its a Overstatement that they played for a draw only, they had a tactic and it really didnt work out for thenm i think every team in the FA cup plays for a WIN. Even if he did play for a draw to try get a win at home what is wrong with that? Remember the first leg semi final of the 2008 UCL at the Nou Camp SAF went for the draw and what did that get him..........The UCL. Benitez is losing his mind and his credibility at a rapid rate.

You see he is a good manager, you cant tell me he isnt. Because shit managers dont win cups with average sides. He has proved it. And thats why the majority of the liverpool fans backed him. Guest ( I'm guessing you peteskee), Rafa didnt tinker before we beat chelsea and took us to the top of the table. We, or should i say I believed he was over that and learned. I was never a fan of his rotation and his ludicrous substitutions, I even mentioned that in previous posts in the early days of these forums. Rafa would have been a fantastic manager for liverpool if he just chose hes best in every game, and rest them when we are 2-0 or 3-0 up. If he did his tinkering in the fa and carling cup only it would be perfect. A manager isnt only a guy that picks a team (which is clearly his downfall).. He is great a building a squad, and a very well balanced one too. He has got many positives and thats why he was backed, you cant tell me 2 million liverpool fans were blinded. maybe 5000  could have been but the rest must have seen something. You guys might say we were blinded but i think it wasnt just that. We were trying to see the bigger picture. You guys didnt go through the 14 year spell without a title (spurs werent expected to win it), liverpool fans were desperate to see improvement and thats what Rafa gave us.  Roy Evans, Souness, Houllier couldnt build half the squad Rafa did. What do you want us to go back to that? Its easy for other fans to say that when you dont really support the team coz it wont be you that suffers the concequences. And even if we did get a better manager to replace him he still deserved his chance! There is more pressure at liverpool than you guys think. Everyone here knows a manager needs time, Fergie and Wenger proved that, and think the Scolari situation is proving that too.. But this is exactly what i'm saying. I know you've been saying it for long, a lot of fans have been. I've backed him and been fair but i feel i'm at a crossroad now cos like you say, its unforgivable. 2 years ago when we were sitting 4th and he made decisions like this it wasnt so bad, but we were sitting on top of the table and challenging for the title and with our best chance in 18 years and he starts gambling! That is like you say, unforgivable and my u-turn on how i feel (not sure if i'll get over it). I would have at that point played my best 11 every game in the league and who cares about the FA cup or even the Champions league for 1 season! I mean the league is what we want most isnt it?
The only thing i'm saying or point im trying to bring across is that you or other fans couldn't have expected to us to give up on Rafa so easily. I dont think that would have been fair to him or more importantly to the club. Liverpool fans want the best for the club so obviously if a year ago sacking him would have been the best for the club then the majority would have said so, and if it means sacking him now then so be it. He has brought us a long way, we are way more respected around the world than what we were 5 years ago. But if this is as far as he can bring us then its time for change, but it couldnt have been expected sooner than the end of this season. Thats all i'm saying.

Exaclty, but will he learn? This is where i've lost faith. In the beggining of the season i was saying he "if you actually look at his team selection, he's done well (except i didnt understand the babel part). Now i can say the same thing? No way. He takes off torres and gerrard when we desperately need a goal to finish it, and to keep you in the title race? Unbelievable!
