I never went as mad as you think. You dont read well and you dont realise that 90% of the time the debates on here are arguments. Even when liverpool were top it was becoming a bit much and almost everything you say i was been loud about was in defence of your critisising comments. As much as you can go on and on about how invinsible united is the fact of the matter is the gap we were behind you 5 years ago (in terms of squad and points) has been closed gradually and considerably. Every season we catching chelsea and united regardless of the capital you have behind you. Shouldnt it be the other way round? ... Should it be you getting further away? Chelsea have so much backing and United have a manager thats been in the game for over 2 decades... What would you expect from Liverpool. This season, as much as you wont admit, I sensed that united fans were having some kind of fear that liverpool have finally stepped up a level and it aint just talk about been title contenders anymore. I wouldnt like if we dont win a trophy this season but if we finish 2nd it could be a great achievment, considering the fact that united and chelsea have been the dominant forces of europe over the half decade or so.

The difference now is the gap we have closed on you and chelsea and the difference is that our squad is very good compared competitively compared to then. The other major difference is that we werent playing in the champions league season after season then and now we are, and very competitive in it too. Without a doubt we are more respected globally now. Not once have i been quiet unless i was upset. But recently i havent had much to say. We've played one league game in over 2 weeks and we got knocked out of the fa cup, what do you want me to say? If you secure the services of tevez you'd have spend nearly double of the amount we've spent since rafa was there and you already had an established squad and youth (20 years of development). Wenger is the Manager that has given United a headache more than anyone else. He has earned the respect of United fans but i did say many a times on this forum and in person that i think that Arsenal got it very wrong this year and that is coming out of a bad year like last year. in the late 90's and early 00's the goons played awsome ball and had players like Henry, Vierra, berkamp, cole, Ljungberg (at his peek) and Pires thats only naming 6 great players in the team that was built by Wenger and was the core of Arsenal. After the stadium though Wenget had to spend even wiser which was a much bigger task than they expected. United have spent about 20 million more than Liverpool maybe 30 but thats max. this is going to start the whole debate again. Hes great except that he forgets the Tevez 10mill loan. Plus are you gonna sign him or not? coz thats another 30.
