Congrats for Liverpool Rafa awesome result doggy...honestly never doubted the English sides - first legs advantage to all of em...Real were very average tho very disappointing, sure u never allowed em to play but that is a joke compared to what they had years ago! Once again not taking anything from u or United just sad to see the competition so average..ties like this use to be out of this world even first legs, but i really have never been so bored with CL games!! Thanks doggy... awesome result for us. I've been saying it for long, the english have the edge in champions league because of the prem style of play, very tactical and physical. The closing down is too good and also much faster and quick on the break. Real had good possession but nothing threatening. I always believed we could beat them away and got my prediction spot on. I said 1-0 win for us but i really thought aswell that Real would have had more clear cut chances but like you say, very disappointing from there side. We went there and knew exactly what to do and got the perfect result, but there is still 90min of football to play so anything can still happen but surely should be too difficult for Real now. They have to now win at anfield and score twice to have a chance of going through. Dont want to count our chickens before they hatch but so far im ecstatic. All english teams could be in the quarters for the 2nd year running.. Very very good for english football. The rest need to get with the program!
