Im not defending his decision, im defending that Refs have been making the same mistakes for a long time, only now we can clearly see the mistakes because of the amount of cameras and technology we have. Instead of firing Refs and having bullshit campaigns like "RESPECT" we should try to solve the issue at hand and avoid the post game accusations. Sometimes a manager will agree that the ref made a mistake and sometime he wont.
Look at the Graham Poll incident at the 2006 WC, why the Fuck did the Linesman, 3rd umpire, players, managers, spectators or anyone tell him that he gave Šimunić a second yellow and he must be off. Blatter came and said if Australia had lost the game they would have had grounds to request a replay. Do we need this in the game.

Sending a Ref to a lower league is wrong.
no matter how many times they do this to the ref he would have made the same choice at the same time. Imagine this. Styles is demoted for 2 months and comes backs. His 4th game back in charge the exact same incident happens. he is standing in the same position EVERYTHING 100% the same except this time it is 100% a penalty. Because of the demotion he wont award it and we will be talking about how shit he is again and he gets demoted.
Prevention is better than cure boys. This is going to spiral out of control if they dont do something about the SYSTEM not REFS.
